Carbon Black N-660

Overview:

The N-660 is a semi-reinforcing carbon black with a medium particle size.
It has colloidal properties that moderate the reinforcing properties and provide low hysteresis to the rubber.

It has a low impact on compound viscosity and can be used in high proportions as a filler, resulting in excellent cost-effectiveness. It combines the desirable properties of N550 blends with those of the N700 series. These characteristics, along with its normal structure and medium particle size, make N660 a suitable carbon black for rubber applications that do not require very high reinforcement but will benefit from good dynamic properties, low heat dissipation, good elasticity, and good processability.

It is used in a wide range of rubber applications and is one of the most widely used carbon blacks among the semi-reinforcing products employed in tire applications.
