Carbon Black N-234
Overview:
The N-234 has a larger surface area and structure than the N-220 and N-339.
It can offer up to 10% greater tread wear resistance than a standard N-220.
It is well-suited for tire treads made from natural and synthetic rubber that require excellent wear resistance.
It is also recommended for conveyor belts, solid tires, and other industrial products that require excellent abrasion resistance.
Processing Characteristics:
- Easy dispersion and provides a moderately high modulus.
- Excellent extrusion characteristics.
Typical Applications:
- Premium passenger tire treads.
- Truck tires.
- Solid tires.
- Truck tire retreading.
- Industrial rubber products.
