Carbon Black N-375
Overview:
N-375 is a reinforcing carbon black.
It provides better elongation, cut resistance, and chip resistance than carbon blacks N-330, N-339, and N-347.
It imparts a lower modulus and viscosity to the compound than N-339 does.
It is suitable for the manufacture of tire treads that require good wear resistance with improved resistance to cuts and chipping.
The product is also well-suited for tire applications, including sidewalls.
It is also recommended for conveyor belts, solid tires, and other industrial rubber products that require good abrasion resistance along with good resistance to
cuts and chips, without high hysteresis.
Processing Characteristics:
- Easy dispersion.
Typical Applications:
- Tread compounds for passenger car and truck tires.
- Retreading of passenger car and truck tires.
- Industrial product applications, including solid tires, conveyor belts, hoses, seals, and a variety of molded products.
